The Gospel

The Gospel is the declaration of that which has ALREADY HAPPENED!

It is NOT the declaration of what will happen if you believe.

The Gospel is the declaration of what HAS HAPPENED so you can believe.

Yes george, he taketh away the first to establish us all in the second.Thank God he has already established us all in the second covenant of grace. With hearts and minds not filled with condemnation but with hearts and minds that are established with grace.

    Well said,my friend.

Much easier to believe in something that has already happened then in something that is in the future. In fact, if it was the declaration of something that will happen IF you believe, and you think you believe it, and NOTHING happens, then it causes confusion. Been there, done that. Simple and short post but a powerful Truth none the less.

That the true gospel message He has already saved us all you can believe it or not but it does not change that He has done everything.

I thank God for this gospel that is now being preached. Setting the captives free. Even when I was three years old, I remember the
peace of God saturating my heart with his love and peace. But
religion corrupted it all. I was so discouraged because I thought I alway’s failed when it came to pleasing God. So, I turned to drugs and alcohol.
I got sick and tired of going up to the alter every Sunday to ask God
to forgive me. Not knowing that he was pleased with me inspite of my
faults. I can’t change the past. But, I will live the rest of my life
    bodly in His grace.

Grace seems too good to be true. I suspect that’s why it is so hard to accept. How can God really love us that much? Because God is Love. That’s it. No strings. Just love.

    Many blessings

Amen kevin. The love of God was to be shed abroad in our hearts through the gospel message not condemnation. The Gospel of peace brought abought by the spirit of grace is what the feet needs to be shod with. What you say my friend? The angels said, this good news was toward all men.The will of our Father thats where it came from by the faith and obedience of christ fullfilling our fahers will in redeeming all mankind.

When you really think about it, most of the things that blow us away are those short and sweet statements or proclamations saturated with truth. This is one of those, thanks George.

    Thanks Randy!
But to be totally honest I first heard it from our mutual friend Mike Williams.
I just wanted to repeat it here and repeat it over to as many who will hear it.

    Peace

Now that I think about it that does sound like a Mike W’s qoute. Mike is a master at coming up with neat and sweet statements. Thanks for your honesty George, I was ready to give you all the credit, but thanks none the less for repeating it. I spoke with Mike a couple of nights ago and as always it was great. He is doing well and is excited about all that is going on pertaining to this awesome gospel. Have a grace day all.

Yes he is Randy. But I think Mike would agree that no credit is due to him, me or anyone else when it comes to the awesomeness of this gospel that Paul preached. And with people like you spreading the seed of that gospel the world will be changed! Thanks for being you!

    Peace
