It is interesting to read what my Dad has written because she has been with them all week so I am truly missing her and it is nice to hear what she is doing when she is away from me. Every parent worries that their child is being respectful and happy when they are away from their guardians! When she was first born I really struggled with whether I should bring her up in church the way I was or if I should just be true to myself and have the courage to take trust in my own belief and lead by example in hopes that she will find her own relationship with God. We do not go to Church and Our "prayers" are made up of random moments and conversations about life during the day, typically when we are fishing or just sitting on the front porch swing. We are constantly trying to acknowlede Gods love through every day occurances. Saying thanks to God for just simply guiding us through each day with love has really been enough for Abby to acknowledge her purpose and her relationship with God. After reading what my Dad said about Abby I feel even more confident that she is well on her way!
