Sum it up

May I suggest that the sum of the Gospel is this…

Include one-another, just as the Father includes youunconditionally.

What is so great about unconditional inclusion? It creates an incredible sense of belonging… bringing to us a level of security most people have never come close to experiencing. The Father knew this when He revealed His heart to us all. He showed us that we all belonged to Him all along. And now we can know it.

Belonging unconditionally, frees us to believe. And belief leads to salvation, and salvation brings peace.

And it is that peace which permits us to selflessly include others.

As far as I am concerned…you most certainly may…..and I am happy to say that I am unquestionably one who is willing to include others, all others.

It’s really nice to be at peace with God.

And it’s nice to see you post Bruce.

Bruce, As I was driving my bus this morning I was thinking of what was the bottom line of my beliefs and then I came home and saw your post……wow….you spoke my heart. Thanks for summing it all up, it’s really so simple we stumble over it.

I find it quite interesting this word unconditional. When you really examine this for yourself and get into discussion with other folk you soon find many different thoughts on this. Again because of many years of hearing it a certain way witch I assumed was right I never really looked at it as it really is. You see I have come to see and believe there are no BUTS or IF’S in the equation. If true grace is what I believe it is then it stands alone without mans involvement whatsoever. This is the beauty and mistery of grace isn’t it?
Bruce I just love your statement towards the end of the post, belonging unconditionally frees us to believe and so on … I love the simplicity and the power of this amazing gospel that just doesn’t give us a chance to get it right but secures us first and leads us the rest of the way home.
    Have a great weekend all.
