A Word From a Bold Grace Newbie

Hey Everyone!

I’m new to commenting on websites, but I just want to tell you all how wonderful it was to spend part of my vacation with such beautiful, loving people! I can’t explain it. It doesn’t make sense. The weekend seemed to be over so fast - - - yet I felt like I knew everyone for years! ? ? ? ?

I know that I do not understand everything about the true Gospel. I’m still trying to answer questions in my mind from all I’ve been taught from birth.

All I know is that it doesn’t really matter. God has all those answers. I just try to look at others through the eyes of the Father. And we (George & I) try to share with others how the Father sees them. We didn’t even leave Richmond before stirring it up! The hostess at the “Bob Evans” now has to search for answers to some questions of her own. (Her Dad is a Deacon in the Catholic Church.) And the waitress at “Eat ‘N Park” (local restaurant), whose father is a pastor, was challenged today with new revelation of being perfect in the eyes of God. Oh yeah, we’re still causing waves in “traditional” churches.

Anyhow, I’m glad we had sharing time. Your personal stories were extraordinary!

Cliff and Nancy, I’m so glad we had Sunday afternoon together! I love ya both! And Nancy, thanks for encouraging George about the pool! Ha! Ha!

I cannot wait until God brings us all together again. Only He knows what wonders He will pour out among us then!

Love you all,
Bonnie

P.S.

This was left as a comment but I wanted to make sure everyone saw it so I am posting it.

Peace
Geo

Thanks, Mindy. I don’t know how I got away without seeing you. Maybe you had stepped out for a moment. But, I accept your “squeeze” with delight. And promise to make it real someday soon! By the way, if you (or anyone reading this) ever feels like a road trip, Pittsburgh is calling you! Between Geo, Steve, and us, there’s plenty of room to spend the night.

I’m really missing you, Steve… and Bev. I hope you can make it to Geo’s in Sept. Otherwise, we’ll just have to make a run down south!

    Cliff,
I wanted to thank you for putting the audio and pictures of the Grace Gathering 2007 on the internet. I had such high hopes of getting to attend but this summer has found me and my family very busy. I am in the middle of moving and getting settled (from Indi back home to Muncie) quite the adjustment and I am also in the middle of moving from my job of 10 yrs to a new position. I was very disappointed that I was unable to make it over there last weekend, in fact heartbroken. I knew there was something awesome happening and I couldn’t make it…

As you probably have picked up, I am from Muncie, just a hour away from you guys in Richmond…I was wondering do you know of anyone in the Muncie area or a group in the Muncie area that has accepted this wonderful message. I am about a year or so new to it and my wife has slowly but surly come to an understanding of it. We are now in a place where we have a hard time attending Church as usual, but desperately miss the fellowship and worship in a church environment. Do you know of anyone in this area that we could hook up with? Also are there plans for another gathering next summer?

Great to here from you PJ. You can thank Geo and Bruce for the audio and pictures. I really don’t know of any place around Muncie that preaches this Gospel but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any. Maybe you and your wife could meet us for supper sometime since we live so close. As far as another Gathering I’m sure there will be one but right now we’re all just resting in the memories of this one. Anyway, thanks for your kind words of grace.

BTW Bonnie, it’s nice to see you comment. Hope you’ll always feel comfortable in doing so.

Bruce, I don’t know about labor day yet but I hope we can make it. I miss you guys too.

Man, I wasn’t even there but seeing and reading all that’s been posted here from the weekend definitely feels like I was there. I think that is literally the power of the church (the Body of Christ) and the connection we truly do have, ESPECIALLY when you talk and get to know others who rid themselves of religion and desire to cling to Jesus alone. That connection is stronger than Arnold Schwarzenegger! Sorry about the comparisson. It gives you a little taste of my neck of the woods… Sacramento, California. ( ; Peace and grace.

Hey Rob, Good to hear from. You are so right about our great need to rid ourselves of religion and just cling to Jesus. And the real good news is that even if we don’t cling to Jesus He will still cling to us.

That’s a HUGE Amen, Cliff!!! Jesus will always pursue (and cling) to us more than any kind of human effort we can ever think to muster up! I absolutely agree with your sentiments! Peace.
