The Fire and the Rose
For those among us who crave the deep intellectual side of the theological/philosophical conversation, I have added a link to our blogroll called The Fire and the Rose. Here is a brief bio about the author in his own words:
D.W. Congdon
I am married to my beautiful and talented wife, Amy. I am an MDiv student at Princeton Theological Seminary. I read German theology, watch foreign films, listen to indie rock music, smoke pipe tobacco, and drink local microbrews. You can read some of my academic theological essays here.
In consideration of some of the discussion about CS Lewis on the previous post here on Boldgrace, this particular article might be of interest.

Bruce,
Give me the short Bruce version as to his view of BOLD GRACE.

My version? I think you would have a LOT in common with him, IF you/we could understand anything he was saying!

Thanks for checking out my blog, and thanks for the kind plug. I’m sure we would have lots in common, and I’d be happy to dialogue more. You might find my series on universalism of interest. It’s currently incomplete, though I hope to finish it at some point down the road.
Thanks for stopping by, DW!
I do enjoy your writing, but have to admit, sometimes I don’t understand it very well. But, I think I usually get the gist of what you’re saying, and like it very much! You have a good grip on the “intellectual” side of the Gospel, and will be a great help to those whose heads are in “that place”.
Great love to you!
