Take Heart!!!!!!
Daniel 12
6 One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?”
7 The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.”
8 I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?”
9 He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
Daniel 12:7 “It will be for a time, times and half a time” -
(Sounds a lot like the time Jesus was in the Tomb?)
“When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.”
(Wasn’t the power of the The Jewish HOLY PEOPLE broken and ended at The Cross?)
Daniel 12:9
He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end
(What end time? The time when the power of The Holy People ie THE JEWS was broken. Question: Was their power broken by The Sacrifice of Jesus? If not then He was NOT the Promised Messiah!)
Daniel 12:10
None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
SELAH!

Interesting passages of scripture to say the least. The problem with most is they cannot see that the “end of days, times, etc., as already having happened and are still looking to the future for some catastrophic event to put an end to this world. Like you say…..if the power was not broken then He was not the Messiah.
Another interesting passage is Daniel 9:24 which tells us that an end to sin and the bringing in of everlasting righteousness will happen on “that day”. If ‘that day” is still future then we are all still in our sin and the “righteous one” has not come. People are looking for the seventieth week of Daniel to come upon this earth when it has actually already come. No wonder there is mass confusion among the denominations.
But the wise will understand and the wicked can not see this like you say.
Good post Geo.
I understand Geo.

Figured you fine folks would embrace this blog. I have not seen it before but the URL is eye catching!
Thanks, JP!
It does look very interesting!
I hope your move is going well. I know you have to be there before your family. Have you made the move yet? When does your family join you?
Nice post, Geo.
It really does confuse me as to how so many smart people can miss this point so completely! It seems so simple… but maybe people don’t trust “simple”, they can only believe something so complex and confusing that it takes a lifetime to sort it out! Well, “sorting it out”, burned me out! I’m glad it did. The only thing I had left was to fall back on the simplicity of the Good News! Thank God!

Geo here: Roy I wish I had said it but that is what the scripture in Daniel says not me!
Cliff,
You understand because of the wisdom that has been revealed to you!

Geo here: Roy I wish I had said it but that is what the scripture in Daniel says not me!
Let me re-word that………George said the scripture says and George repeated what the scriptures clearly teach. That sounds much better.
I am thinking if more people that hear what we say would look away from what we are saying and realize it is NOT us saying it, but just repeating what the scripture teaches, and see it is what the scriptures are actually saying, a better understanding of the Gospel would most certainly be understood.
Good point you made by telling me it is not you saying it.
Roy
I LOVE YOUR Heart!
