To All From Nancy,

I can't thank all of you enough for your overwelming support and kindness to my entire family. This experience has changed my life in ways that I could never have explained before, but I do believe God's unconditional, never failing love is what has brought me through.

PS. Steve, I sure hope you can meet us when we come out to see Geo & Bonnie. I am also looking foward to seeing Bruce & Judy.

Cliff and Nancy-

I have had a similar situation with my dear wife some years ago now when two of my boys were young. It was a trying time since I had not discovered the true grace of our loving God. Be thankful you knew His full love for you and Nancy. It was a dark time in our lives, but in spite of OUR lack, there was NONE in Him. He brought us through it as He will your family. My thoughts, intentions, and prayers are with you. Much love to you and Nancy.

Steve, my greatest desire is to see as many people as possible be awakened to the love that can not be descriibed by words. Even though we have not met we have a love between us that is beyond human love, it is the purest form of love that has been with us even before we were born and I know that our Father is pleased.

"Love is the greatest power in the universe and it will never fail any of us. That’s why we can not judge any person for anything."

Amen Cliff. The One who is perfect Love came not to judge but to save and He did not fail. His grace and love is overwhelmingly superior to the power of religious thought to condemn us. It is "much more" effective than those things that supposedly defeated us.

We can all be so glad that Love never fails....not for any man or woman. The tribulations of this world may make it appear otherwise at times but we can be sure that our secure eternal destiny is already settled in the mind and heart of God and we shall see it in the praises of a number beyond numbering.....all people.

You, Nancy and your family are always in my heart and prayers.

Hi Cliff,

I'm saddened by your experience and don't let the labels that psychiatry uses shock you. Bi-polar means a lot of things and most anything that they don't understand they place under that label or another somewhat like it. The reason I know this is a very long story that I'm not comfortable sharing here but if you need to talk to someone who understands, I'm available.

I'm glad they found a medication to end her psychosis. Don't limit her return to wellness to medications though. Remember they are attempting to treat with medication that which they cannot measure the result of or even with certainty, measure as disease. They compare it to diabettes, and I believe it is a chemical embalance, but they can't measure the embalance or take a measurement as to when the medication is working properly. It is subjective.

Please don't rule out the simple causes such as stress and diet. The chemicals for the brain are produced in our bodies and if we put bad fuel in our bodies, we will produce bad chemistry for our brain to function on. There is also a disease that is caused by a deficiency of B vitamins that mimicks bipolar, has long been known, can be tested for but seldom is tested for. Also, if your wife seems to get worse after the medication, trust yourself if you think it may be due to the medication. It happens all of the time but often psychiatrists will tell you it is worsening disease and give more medication. I'm not telling you this to scare you but just be careful where you put your trust at such a vulnerable time. Trust God because even well meaning doctors are prone to error. Trust what you know to be true about your wife. The positive attitude you have is great, may God maintain it in you. My prayers are with you.

Pam

p.s. Also research the side effects of the medications so that you will be prepared. Nutritional and natural helps for mood disorders are also readily accessed online. There is lots of help out there and not all of one source!

Joe & Cindy,

In my eyes you are PERFECT because God has taught me to see the reality of his creation. What you have done for me is the simplicity of just being a friend.
