Ps. cliff, the acceptance in our beloved is awesome as you americans say. But it is much more as Paul the hebrew and roman citizen said. It is joy unspeakable and full of glory. It's an unspeakable gift as Paul said. But he said that at a time when he was just coming into the revelation of it all. Now we speak of it as normal. Because that is who we are, full of light in the Lord.

Cliff, we are all ministers of reconciliation. Some know it, others don't. because they cannot see the mighty work of the savior. Blinded by the doctrines and traditions of men. There is a new covenant in place from the cross which will never change. But how many for whom christ tasted of death for are hearing this truth? Very few? It's time to call a spade a spade as they say here in belfast. The truth should be heard. So many are suffering unneccesarily as far as i'm concerned. Ive been there. And its not nice to be there. Antichrist doctorine is ripe in the so called church. The kingdom of heaven is, love joy and peace in the holy ghost. thats what it is. Ignorance is ripe of the love of God in christ. So many tortured souls are out there who need truth to set them free. I will continue to give to them same tortured souls freedom which is in christ their savior. I'm sore and tired of listening to people being bound by religion and not knowing the truth. I don't care who is holding them captive i will carry on setting them free through the message of grace and peace.

kenneth.

Thanks for this one Cliff. I find that whether its this topic or so many other things pertaining to the spirit, the thing that always alludes us is seeing it as our Father does. Our greatest enemy is our own mind and our own illusions, I guess thats why we are to have our minds renewed.
I so like your comments on reality, a beautiful picture of the Fathers Love for all.

The key thing for me in this post is the realization that Darkness & Light are alike to God, and therefore both must have their PERFECT work. Most of the time in our limitations we only see the PAIN or the PEACE but when we can begin to see them both as his perfect work then we see GOD. Great comments by ALL.

Yes, darkness causes us to seek the light. No one likes darkness, but it happens to all of us. Without darkness, we could not know what light is. Life is about contrasts. That's how we learn.

In my own experience, the only time there has been true growth in my life is in the darkness, I don't like pain and suffering but I am learning to accept that is where the growth lies and at the times I can be grateful for that, seems to be the times the pain eases. I think this is one of those subjects where we have to realize we are finite beings and God is infinite and we will never fully understand but we can Trust Him through the darkness and know that He is ALWAYS there!

The light will always over come darkness. When you are in a total dark room just the small light can be see anywhere in the room and the darkness can't cover it.
God's love is the same way there is nothing that can stop it. Paul had the experience on his way to Damcas the light of God's love came upon him he could not see with his eyes but eyes of His heart was open to the true love of God.

I hear you Bruce. If this world were perfect can you imagine how boring it would be? What would you learn? What would you experience? How would we grow?
Sometimes we are so afraid of things when they aren't presented to us in pretty pictures and bright colors. We don't want to question things. We fear the unknown. John Mayer says in one of his songs, "fear is a friend who's misunderstood. I know the heart of life is good."
Sometimes it takes the darkness to see the light as Bruce might say. :)

Beautiful thoughts, Cliff!

Sometimes, I think it's a matter of this...

How could we know happiness, if we've never experienced sadness?

How could we know peace, if we've never experienced war?

How could we know satisfaction, if we've never been dissatisfied?

How could we know love, if we've never experienced hatred?

Of course there is no end to these comparisons, but you get the idea.

Maybe that's what this world is all about. It's a place to learn what is good, and what is not?
