The Missed Apocalypse
Apocalypse (Greek: Ἀποκάλυψις -translit. apoca’lipsis, meaning literally: the lifting of the veil), is a term applied to the disclosure to certain privileged persons of something hidden from the majority of humankind.
2007 years ago The Veil in The Temple was rent in two i.e. LIFTED. The Cross WAS The Apocalypse and the majority of mankind and "christianity" missed it. And yes I must admit as the definition states I do feel privileged to have had it disclosed to me. The thing is it was NOT the church and its teachings that revealed it. No it was leaving all of that behind in order to Find Jesus ALONE that lead me to it. The Good News today is that what has been hidden for 2007 years is now in our lifetime beginning to be discovered by a vast number of people worldwide. What are your thoughts?

I as well am so thankful that this has been revealed to me and as you say, to many across the world. I did not know that it literally meant “lifting of the veil” and that makes it even more clear. I had left the institution too before I began to see this as it just was not taught. It was taught however, that we had much to fear with the coming judgment and it brought nothing but further bondage. Jesus put an end to religion, laws etc at the cross and soon afterwards, the “church” picked it right back up, re-instituted it, and it is ongoing even stronger than ever today. I am thankful for the eyes and hearts that are being opened to this great freedom, apart from the “institution” of course, as you will never find freedom there. Glad I read this today. a great way to start my day with further confirmation of the absolute completeness of the event of the cross.
Well, I think you’re a nut… but a smart one, and I agree with you completely. Like Cliff stated, the slate must be wiped clean. All the indoctrinations and preconceptions must allowed to die before the truth can shine in. Christ lifted the veil, and the church quickly put it back into place (at least they think they did). They know they can’t control and manipulate a free people, and keeping that “veil” between the people and the truth causes people to NEED THEM! People will tell you that it’s all about the mission, and the community, and the good works… but I tell you, it’s about the money and power.
There’s definitely something afoot! I am still seeking to find exactly what it is. Meanwhile, I’ll enjoy the freedom I’ve acquired over the past 2+ years.
As I was thinking about this after I wrote it the thought occurred to me that they did not miss it! The fact is one day every man, woman and child will have their own APOCALYPSE! At some point ALL of God’s Children will have the VEIL lifted and they will see Him as He Truly is!
And when that happens I can tell you as a lot of you here on Bold Grace know YOU ARE NEVER THE SAME AGAIN!

For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming, then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power. He placed all of His enemies (and his friends) under His feet at the cross, as He was lifted up and His blood, dripping from his feet, washed away all of our guilt and shame. Some day all will see it and the consequences of sin, death, will have lost all of its power.
When I was younger I use to freak out. I was worried over what all of the different religions believed in and who was right. I remeber thinking, Wow, one of these days the world is going to disappear because of some major event or Jesus is going to fly down from heaven and kill us all because the world is filled with too much sin. Jesus is coming, jesus is coming…Oh dear Lord. LOL
Steve said it best, “Some day ALL WILL SEE IT and the consequences of sin, death, will have lost all of its power. ”
The beauty of what I see in this life now is that we are all perfect in the eyes of God.

Geo, I’ve held very similar views to you for a good few years now, but I’m just not able to tie everything to the Cross like you do.
What about the resurrection? What about Pentecost? What about AD70?
I rejoice in the unveiling that you speak of, but I guess I see it as a wider event than just the Cross. The baby in a manger, the man feeding the hungry and touching lepers, the God upon the cross, the living saviour…

It is good to read your comment. It has been awhile since I have been to your site. How are you doing? Hope all is well with you and family.
As far as tying everything to The Cross as I do. That is not really important. The only thing I am interested in anymore is helping people get themselves out of the Redemption Equation as it realtes to them doing ANYTHING in order to attain it or keep it. THAT EVEN INCLUDES BELIEVING. Our faith means NOTHING. It is His Faith that Redeemed and Saved all. That is the apocalypse that ALL will someday see.
