I loved listening to your words this evening. They ring so true because I am in the same place you are and can really relate to what you are saying. It is nice to be free and to finally understand what faith really is. It certainly isn’t ours and I can say the same thing as well….I am now a believer.

    AMEN!
It is so good to finally be a believer in the faith of Christ and not in my own faith! The church today believes in their own faith and they disbelieve in the faith of Christ and instead rely on their “personal faith”

    Thanks.

    Redlefty,
We at Bold Grace want that young man to know that he is LOVED & ACCEPTED AS IS! We also want to encourage him to continue to explore and ask questions. The God of evangelical Christianity or should I say the perception evangelical Christianity has of God is one that is weak and powerless to do anything without man’s approval. The God and Jesus His Son that I know of excluded ALL of mankind out (see Romans 11:32) of the Redemption decision process in order that He would have mercy on ALL (Romans 11:32)
We also want that young man to know that there is a difference between Redemption & Salvation. Redemption is a work that Jesus did 2008 years ago, it is of the Spirit and it includes everyone. Salvation on the other hand is of a persons Soul i.e. the mind, the will and the emotions of that person. And it (Salvation) can only take place when the Soul- mind, will & emotions of that person comes into the knowledge that the Spirit has been Redeemed outside of its actions, words or deeds. And outside of its acceptance or rejection of said Redemption. If a person becomes aware that they have been and are forevermore Redeemed and will go to the Father after this life then that said person comes into the power to believe. As long as there was a requirement to believe in order to be Redeemed NO ONE COULD BELIEVE! And what was the reason they could not believe (Romans 11:32) Because God locked them ALL in unbelief! So He could have mercy on ALL! You see there was NO Faith on the earth until Jesus came. It was Jesus who Authored (began) Faith and Finished (ended)(Heb. 12:2) Faith. He was and is the one who God looked throughout the earth for as to faith. It was Him who fulfilled the scriptural requirement to believe and have faith not you or I. Once He believed the requirement of faith (for Redemption) was done away with. And once that requirement to believe was removed then mankind had the ability to believe. Not because of a requirement but because now man can see God in all of His Glory and power. You see the Jesus and Father God of todays evangelical Christianity will only do for you if you do for Him and accept Him. The ONE true God and Father of Jesus the Christ and of all mankind is ALL powerful to reach down and redeem man even when man curses and rejects Him! I have a question for that young man….Would you torture endlessly your children if they reject you? Would you make them suffer wishing for death, but never letting them die just so they would suffer more? Well then if you being evil know how to give GOOD Gifts to your children how much more does your Father know which is in Heaven?

    Redlefty,
We want that young man to be free and know he is PERFECT in the eyes of God and he need not do anything to seek or win God’s approval. And to know, it is the love of God that leads men to change their minds about who and what He was and is. So Redlefty if you see that young man would you please tell him these things for us?

    Peace
    Your Perfect Friend

Man, there’s a lot of wisdom packed into that message. And amazingly, I didn’t see your mouth move once the whole time! ;-)

    See you tomorrow!

    Bruce,
My mouth did not move cause I am in your head and I am you! Think about that for awhile and we will talk it over at breakfast in the morning.

Who is this young man george?

  9. geoon 20 Jan 2008 at 7:22 am link comment

    Kenneth Asked:
Who is this young man george?

    Kenneth,
He in a way is everyone who ever desired to explore what they truly believe and why they believe it. He is a representation of all people who desire to make a connection and to be accepted unconditionally regardless of their beliefs or lack of beliefs. He is YOU, He is ME, He is humanity! But even more than that He is LOVED! He is someone who is real though and you will see him around here on Bold Grace on occasion. I will not reveal his identity though. I just want him to know daily that he is PERFECT! And that if he follows his heart he will know the truth and it will set him free.

    Peace

I am unable to see this video at work but I just wanted to say…..

    I love you guys.

Wow, as an unbeliever, I was quite impressed with the video. You made the faith sound truely worthy of obtaining. I have not been on said blog in a bit, but I will show some support.

This is why I love you guys, never condemning, always supportive.

    JP,
Let me ask your forgiveness! My intention was not to have people think they can “obtain” faith. I truly am sorry that is what you received from the post. You my friend already have all the faith that anyone could ever have! There is a seed in you that will never die! And it is in all others as well. Again please know that we at Bold Grace don’t think that you need to attain anything. You are complete as is! WE LOVE YOU!

    Peace
    Geo

Your post made sense, my wording did not. Instead of saying “obtain faith” I should have used “recognized faith”

No problem JP. I should have known that you understand where we are coming from. Thanks again for your openness and willingness to share your journey with us.

    Peace
