How are you?
I was sitting here reading comments, and started thinking about all the wonderful people I’ve met through the Internet, and more specifically, through blogging. And I find myself wondering… "how’s everybody doing"? Are you doing OK? Health good? Are you happy? Are your needs being met? Do you have enough to eat… clothes to wear? Don’t be shy, this is a safe place. Or, if you are more comfortable sharing privately, please write any of the BoldGrace team (on the contact page). I invite you to share your life with us all… catch us up… let us know how you’re doing.
To all my cherished old friends, and to all our beloved new friends, and to all the visitors who stop by to read, but haven’t yet spoken… let us hear from you! We are so thankful for you, and look forward to knowing you better.
Love to all.

Bruce
Is there a way to post a picture in the comments section here on Blold Grace
Peace
Geo
I am doing great!
Losing weight, playing sports (having a blast), bought a house, moving in the end of June, marriage is fun (4 years in July), finished launching June as Aboriginal History Month - and I am kinda on ‘top of the world’. I thank God for all the successes I am seeing - it’s humbling for me. But it also allows me to share some great things with others!
Thanks for asking Bruce - life is not always a struggle - until we make it one.
You mean… like this?
You would have to upload the pic to a webhost, then create the HTML to render it into the comment. Not too hard after you’ve done it a couple times. Sorry there’s no easier way to do it…
Thanks for sharing SocietyVS, it’s always nice to hear from you… and hear a good report. I’m not sure struggles don’t come sometimes though, even though we don’t make them. Sometimes, that’s just life on planet earth. Sometimes, bad stuff just happens. But, isn’t it wonderful to be able to weather the bad times, and come out of it shining?
Hi Dan here a live in Canton Michigan.I retired from Chrysler Corp. last year but cannot full retire because I am helping my children Danielle and Christian threw college.
I am now working doing floors and the carpet in a medical building.
My beauiful wife Lin and I have been married 20 years.
I love reading playing disc golf and watching sports especailly hockey go Redwings.
I love reading and writing to all here at boldgrace.Well that is about all for now.
Love Dan
Actually, I got nailed with a kidney stone and the stomach flu in the same week this past week. OTHER than that:
My 6 year old boy, 10 year old girl, and wife of 12 years are wonderful. I have two days of school left, though I will be teaching four weeks of summer school right away (MUCH lighter schedule).
I too am thankful for the “blogging” friends I have made (glad to hear all is awesome societyvs). In fact, myself and another blogger near the Salt Lake area got connected through this process and we have started a once a month get together to discuss the sacred at a local coffee shop. Hooray for blogging.
Thanks for the site BoldGrace folks, I have been encouraged and educated by your writing!
Yeah Bruce just like that! hahaha
By the way who is that animal and what zoo did you find him in!?
Peace
Geo
Thanks, Dan! It’s always good to hear from you! Glad to hear things are going well. Michigan isn’t so far from Pittsburgh, and pretty close to Indiana where Cliff lives. It would be cool if we could all get together some day!
Andrew, I’m so glad you wrote! Seems like we haven’t heard from you for a while. It’s so nice to hear that things are good in your life (well, except for the flu/stones). Your family sounds nice. Hey I have an idea (and this is for everybody who reads this)… send me a picture of your family, and I’ll build a photo page with all the pictures I get! Just be sure to give me the first names of everyone in the photo, so I can caption them.
Yes, this blogging/internet thing is really opening a lot of doors all across the world. It’s like… a miracle, or something!
Hey, WATCH IT, Geo! That blonde bombshell is a very good friend of mine! Don’t DISS the dude!
Well I am trying to find a job and having no luck so far because I am in school full time and my son’s day care is only open Monday through Friday from 7-6. My availability is not exactly what most employers are interested in. So thats the bad news.
Good stuff: My son is crawling…and he moves fast. He has 6 teeth now, four on top and two on bottom. He likes to bite people! He will be 9 months old by the middle of this month! I love him so much and he looks like he could be my twin. I am in summer school taking a gerontology class (which is awesome) and another prenursing class called lifecycle 1: pregnancy through middle age.
I am going to court on June 16 for child support so wish me luck!
here is a picture of us…i dont know if it will work…

Hi Michelle! Sorry to hear about the job situation. How much longer do you have to go in school? Are you looking for full-time, or part-time work? What kind of work are you looking for? Sorry for all the questions, but maybe some of our readers will have some ideas for you. By the way, in which part of the country are you living?
Good luck with the child support. I’m sure that will help you out a lot. I guess, in a fair world, a father would want to support his child… without having to be told by the courts.
Nice picture! (I fixed the link for you) You both look so happy! Great looking kid! (and mom!).
Keep us posted!
Hi
My name is Julia and I live in Australia.
I love the photo Michelle!
I work for an Electrical/Air Conditioning business in the office. It is a family owned business and my employer is great to work for - very family orientated, patient and kind.
When I read Dan’s comment that he had been married 20 years I thought he must be older than me - then I realised hey I will have been married 20 years in December. I keep losing track of my age these days.
We have two children - 18 y.o. son and 14 y.o. daughter. My son finished high school last year and this year began a Joinery apprenticeship making windows and doors. So it is a new phase in our life having an adult child in the workforce!
Anyway, thanks for asking how I am.
What a great bunch of people, of course you all know at Boldgrace we think your perfect just the way you are……..Great picture Michelle.
Hi Julia! Thanks for writing!
It is wonderful to know more about you. Sounds like life is good.
I’ve always been fascinated by Australia. It is on my list of places I’d like to visit some day. Do you have an extra bedroom for visitors yet?
What a wonderful post that you have started here Bruce. It’s great to know there are so many caring, friendly people here.
I’m not sure if you remember me from a year or so ago. I asked a few probing sort of questions and was very grateful for yours and others answers.
Things here in England are going well. although i’m still waiting to see Summer arive. I’m sure that us English folks should have been born with webbed feet, the amount of rain we seem to get.
Spirutally wise? Still full of questions and struggles.
Once again, thanks for a great post.
Neil
Hi Neil! It’s so nice to hear from you! Sounds like you’re doing OK.
Yes I do remember us exchanging some thoughts a while back. Where does the journey have you at this point? I hope you’re finding more and more freedom from the guilt and fear that traditional religion heaped on us all.
Visit often!
May summer arrive soon!
Hi Bruce
It would be a delight to meet you and Judy in person, so if you do get the chance to travel to Australia one day, do come and visit us! I believe we Aussies are known for our BBQ’s but I don’t think I could live up to Geo and Bonnie’s amazing SPIT ROASTS! I love looking at the photos of your gatherings - the scenery is absolutely beautiful and the food looks delicious.
Thanks Bruce for the kind comments…and yes - life can suck at times - but we can always come out shining (and maybe even better for it).
I am 33. Married to my husband Charlie and together we have an 8 year old little girl named Abby. I live in a small town about an hour away from both of our families. My husband likes to listen to BET on Sundays before he goes out fishing and I like to sit on my front porch, smoke and watch my humming birds feed. My life isn’t fancy or fun. My husband and I fight over stupid things and I can get really impatient with my Abbygirl when I have to continually pick up after her. My husband and I work everyday and live pay check to pay check. I am happy. I may not show it all of the time, but I look forward to growing and just being me.
I love everyone’s comments. This is wonderful! I feel a connection to all of you that I don’t think I could explain.
Hey bruce thanks for fixing the link! Well I live in Orange County, California. I am looking for a part time job. Good news: a friend of a friend took my resume for his work at Citibank and he is putting in a good word for me. So hopefully I will be a part time bank teller! Thanks for all the comments! I am glad to hear you all are doing well, too!
Thanks for asking!
I’m doing really well. Our 3rd daughter was born 2 weeks ago, so we’re all shattered!
I’m also still struggling to find work, but provision has been amazing in the meantime.
Hey, Neil, it’s good to see someone else from England! Summer? I remember that! Feel free to drop me an email at my name at anabaptist dot co dot uk.
Julia- If your company is in Orange County, I would definately check it out. But I have the feeling it’s in an other state or area. Thanks!
Congratulations Graham! I wish my son was that little again. He is all over the place now. Enjoy your new little one! Aren’t they the best when they are that tiny?
Thanks for sharing, Mindy. I love your openness… and you! Hang in there, it only gets better, unless it gets worse for a while, THEN it will get better!
Graham! Congrats on the new one! I know what you mean about the job hunt. I’ve been looking for 7 months now. Can’t find anything worthwhile. So, I’m relying on my computer skills to try to make a living. It’s not a lot of money, but it seems to be growing. Maybe someday I can actually make a living at it.
Best of life to you and yours!
Hello All- I live in North Texas, south of Fort Worth. I am 62. I was in education for 34 years, teaching in junior high, high school, and university. I retired from education in 2005, and now am a mail admininistrator for D.R. Horton, home builders. We are the largest home builder in the nation. I love my job. I get to walk 3-5 miles per day, deliveriing the mail to our corporate office employees in our 38 story building in downtown Fort Worth. I enjoy all the people I come in contact with every day.
My wife of 41 years also works for D.R. Horton as the C.F.O. of the North Houston, Texas division. That’s right, we live in two separate cities!! I see her every 2-3 weeks. It’s working out fine. We’ve been doing that for over 1 1/2 years now. I have three sons, and have three grandsons and one granddaughter. I have a website (thanks to Bruce) at:
http://donrogers.org
Please come see me and comment. I’d love to have you. Thanks Bruce for doing this.
Let me add that if anyone gets the chance to meet Don R. you are in for a real TREAT! This guy is one of a kind and a real good friend to all who come in contact with him!
Sure do miss you Don!
Peace
Geo
Thanks for posting this. I know I’m late on it but here’s a little about me. I’m a nearly nineteen year old criminal justice major who lives in the southeastern United States. Right now my life is figuring out what I really believe and why, my summer job, summer school, and moving out of my parents’ house by the end of the summer.
Graham, congratulations on your new daughter. A new girl was born in our family about two weeks ago as well. Michelle, I wish you the best in finding a job. I know finding part-time flexible hours can be a pain.
I’ve been fascinated by Australia myself. I adore the Aussie accent and I’d love to visit someday when I have the time and money.
I hope all of ya’ll have a great day.
Welcome, Kiara! It’s so nice of you to write!
I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say we’re all looking forward to getting to know you better. Hang around when you can, and keep us posted on your progress!
Wishing you a great day too!
