hi all, I havn’t tuned in to the webcast in a long time, thought I would give it a listen, I listened to the Carlton Pearson episode(Aug 6) and wow that man has some powerful insights, not only that but has an amazing talent in communicating them. Was really impressed with what he had to say about Jesus not so much dying for the sins of the world to appease Angry God, but that his death was a result of sin in the world.
The message being God was never angry to begin with, it was only the perception of the masses. He explaines in detail better than I am doing here, it was about 35 or so minutes into the webcast (the first half hour is pretty meh)
He also mentions the mythical virgin birth, my jaw almost fell to the floor, I also enjoyed Mike’s response to the Angry God perception Carlton spoke about. Good stuff!
