So true George, When Jesus came to the disciples after the ressurection, the first thing He said was “Peace be unto you” It was not so much of a greating of peace. But a Kingdom of Peace that was established at Calvary. When the middle wall of partition was broken down. This is what that peace means:Peace- eirēnē i-rah’-nay
Probably from a primary verb εἴρω eirō (to join); peace (literally or figuratively); by implication prosperity: – one, peace, quietness, rest, + set at one again.
A state of national tranquility, exemption from the rage and havoc of war, peace between individuals, i.e. harmony, concord. security, safety, prosperity, felicity, (because peace and harmony make and keep things safe and prosperous)
The tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and content.
The power of the Gospel, Peace, thanks George Peace be unto you Jeff and Kate

Rom 1:16-17
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
KJV
The power of God is the gospel (good news of Christ). Within the gospel is revealed the righteousness of God (the faith of Christ). This Faith of Christ stirs within each of us a new faith that says we are the children of God, made in His Perfect Image.
Believing the Gospel is the beginning of a walk with God wherein He holds our hand and lets us know that nothing will ever separate us. Oh what a God we have.
Rom 8:32-39
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
KJV

I can’t think of the power of God without thinking of the way He created everything and holds it together with His power. I tell my kids this story about how all creation praises Him. You can see the praise in creation – the grass, flowers, trees all reach for the sky as if in praise. Think of how beautiful it must be to God, an entire universe of stars, planets, galaxies, and all that might inhabit them… but whatever praise these all offer is what they do it instinctively without freewill… they ‘worship from afar’. What is most beautiful to Father is when His children – His most precious created treasure beyond everything in the universe – perceive, receive, and respond to His love available to us because of Christ. Intimacy… that is the power of God in a most meaningful form, don’t you think?
I would add that even the most vile and repulsive things also declare the power of God! Because it is even in those things that God’s power to redeem is displayed! While we we yet…… Christ died and redeemed us.

What is the power of God?
Ephesians 3:9
AND TO MAKE ALL MEN SEE WHAT IS THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE MYSTERY,
WHICH FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD HATH BEEN HID IN GOD, WHO
CREATED ALL THINGS BY JESUS CHRIST.
Now that is POWER!! Because he first loved us – Sue
AMEN Sue!
