The Perfect Process by Angie Hazelbaker

My cousin Angie wrote a poem about my Father that was chosen to be printed in the 2009 issue of Tributaries. The new issue of Tributaries will be available in September.

The Perfect Process

 Before he left he said

“remember, you are being moved through the journey of life by a power you cannot see. Your destination is  greatness beyond your comprehension. Your purpose must be your passion for life. And peace is your resting place at the end of the day.”

I stood on the bank

Water rushing past me-out of sight.

Knowing-
We are that power, we are the rays of the sun, we are universal.
As he left I said

“we will look for you-glowing in the pink sky at the end of our day.”
