HAPPY FATHER’S DAY

Words are flying out like endless rain into a paper cup They slither while they pass They slip away across the universe Pools of sorrow waves of joy are drifting through my open mind Possessing and caressing me

Nothing’s gonna change MY WORLD

Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes That call me on and on across the universe Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box they tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe

Nothing’s gonna change MY WORLD

Sounds of laughter shades of life are ringing through my open ears exciting and inviting me Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns It calls me on and on across the universe

Nothing’s gonna change MY WORLD    –BEATLES

HAPPY FATHERS DAY :)

Last night My family shared an evening of campfire, hot dogs and good laughs. Uncle Doug and Aunt Cindy’s have always been a place of good memories. As kids, we had secret day with Uncle Doug every year and for yrs we celebrated 4th of July with the Danville Sissys! We share memories of being dared to go to the middle of Dougs pond. I won’t go into details, Oh Ok I will!! Uncle Andy once did it on a dare in his underwear. Sorry Uncle Andy. Theres plenty more of those stories but we’ll save it for them to tell. Anyway, I went knowing that my one goal was to jump into that nasty old pond with thoughts of my Dad right beside me. Who knows why we do some of the things we do but I did it. I stripped down to underwear and bra (the worlds not ready for my birthday suit) and with my oldest son beside me,I went to the middle of that nasty pond! It was great. I knew my dad was laughing his butt off! Happy fathers day Dad!
Today was easier than i thought, guess i’ll have to jump in that pond every year! Love It! Thanks Uncle Doug for a great night!

My dad’s been gone for almost 14 years and I still think of him so very often and of course always on fathers day and today especially because my sweet little mom is back in the ICU having a very tough time and talking about wanting to be with him. Today was one of those days that I asked God lots of questions. All in all still a very good day. I soaked up every minute with my mom and hated like everything to have to leave but know that God is in control and it is a perfect process. (Thanks Cliff) And to all his kids would just like to say I’ve especially had you all on my heart today and so glad you ‘ve got your great uncles to help you celebrate just the way that seems to be PERFECT. Love the story Tammy–thanks for sharing!

    Love you guys!

    Lisa,
You are in my thoughts. I am so sorry to hear that your Mom is back in ICU. I know that is painful to watch, but you are right about one thing and that is this sure is a perfect process and you are doing a great job accepting it. I know it is such an emotional roller coaster and sometimes you just want off the ride, but just ride and hold on tight.
    Love you :)

    Lisa,

I left this message once but for some reason it didn’t submit so I’ll try it again.
Just wanted you to know that our thoughts and our love are with you and all of your family. I know how difficult this time must be for all of you, but i also know that great Southern Hazelbaker blood, passed on to you by both your Dad and Mom, will give the strength to guide you and carry you through this process.

    Love ya cuz

    P. S…… just for clarification, Northern Hazelbaker blood and Southern Hazelbaker blood are similar. The only difference is with Northern Hazelbaker blood you can out run a speeding train and jump tall buildings with a single bound.

    Still love ya cuz…lol
