It seems lately it has been difficult for my heart to put into words what it is I am feeling about anything really, but yesterday was different. I had this sudden urge to express my frustrations. I had acknowledged some feelings that were apparantly overwhelming me, hence the screaming in the head? The tribulations of life can be overpowing sometimes. Almost as if someone shut the door and closed the blinds on the beauty of what is. For me the beauty of what is shouldn’t be tricky. It use to be very obvious…I have amazing people to share my life with. I have the beauty of nature that surrounds me. I have a roof over my head and I have a job to pay the bills. It should be enough, but my human mind right now only wants to focus on what was and what could have been rather than what is. I guess this is a point in life where people go to God or go to mediation or go to wherever or whoever it is that is higher in hopes that it will bring them peace or salvation. However you go about getting through this life do it with your eyes wide open to all the possibilities that life will bring you. Do your best and try NOT to be afraid of it all.

In honor of my Dad, Cliff Hazelbaker our Team will be walking from 9:00am to 9:00am the next morning working hard to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

Our Reason to Relay

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is more than just an event to our team. It is our opportunity to help save lives from cancer by supporting the American Cancer Society.

It’s amazing to think that millions of people will be diagnosed with cancer this year. My Father Cliff Hazelbaker was one of them in 2009.

But, by taking part in Relay, We are helping the American Cancer Society save lives by:

• Helping people stay well by helping them take steps to prevent cancer or detect it early, when it’s most treatable
• Helping people get well by being in their corner around the clock to guide them through every step of their cancer experience
• Finding cures by funding groundbreaking research that helps us understand cancer’s causes, determine how best to prevent it and discover new ways to cure it
• Fighting back by working with lawmakers to pass laws to defeat cancer and rally communities worldwide to join the fight

How do you know what is conditioned and programmed within you and what is the real you? I know I often get confused and angry at not knowing what is real? Do you want what everyone else has because it makes you feel as if you are a part of something? Are you afraid of being alone? We are afraid to listen to ourselves, but did you hear a whisper of yourself say, "I am not sure I agree with that?" I believe that is you trying to stand alone. I believe that whisper is you wanting to be free from the illusions of this world.

The definition for Stand Alone and Freedom are this:

STAND ALONE: Operating, functioning, or existing without additions or assistance; independent; able to be separate or separated.

FREEDOM: The condition of being free; the power to act or speak or think without externall imposed restraints.

When should we stand alone? When should we separate?  Do you stand alone in your marriages? Do you stand alone in your Churches? Do you stand alone in your friendships? Do you stand alone in your college or High School classes?  You are free to stand alone in your beliefs and in the things that make you an individual and you can still be engaged in this life with all its craziness :). Standing alone is to think on your own and be honest to who you are. You are giving so much more when you give it from your true self. When you give from your covered up self you are just giving back into the worldy illusions. You are giving them that fearful, scared, dishonest person. You are giving them the person who hides from the real self.  You are giving them the person who hides because they think hiding protects them and keeps them safe. Do you bury yourself because it is easier. Are you afraid to be alone? Do you know how to look deep into your nature. I am here to tell you that there is nothing to fear…there is nothing to hide from and there is nothing to hide for. One of my favorite quotes written by Meredith Jordan is this:

"Whatever you have forgotten, you can remember. Whatever you have buried you can unearth. If you are willing to look deep into your own nature, if you are willing to peel away the layers of NOT-SELF you have adopted in making your way through the tribulations of life, YOU WILL FIND your true self is not as far removed as you think."

The illusions of this world do not have to stop us from forming what we really are. And what are we really?? WE ARE NOT HUMAN BEINGS GOING THROUGH A TEMPORARY SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE.
WE ARE SPIRITUAL BEINGS GOING THROUGH A TEMPORARY HUMAN EXPERIENCE and it isn’t as complicated as we make it. We are simple creatures of perfection living on a magnificant and perfect earth that provides us everything we need. The sun warms our face. The light guides us through our days. The stars of the night give us peace. The trees shade us. When we are thirsty the water quenches our thirst and cools our skin. Awww and the wind…the wind is the little push we need in our sail. Our love will keep us moving forward. What more do we need? We are meant  to love each other. We are meant to be happy. We are meant  to stand alone. The only master of your mind is you. Do you want to be Free to Stand Alone?
